If you are seekiing here, you, or someone close to you is in pain.
It may be physical or emotional pain, a sense of
powerlessness or a longing so intense that it sears your soul.
But it is pain, and for that you have my deepest wishes that you,
or those for whom you seek,
find relief.
I am a psychotherapist - a counselor, or advisor if you will,
who strives to assist those drawn to me in healing the wounds,
situations, beliefs, or conditions
which prevent them from experiencing joy.
As the complex being that I have come to know myself to be,
I recognize that each of you is just as complex.
No one approach or philosophical perspective will serve you all.
I have developed an eclectic wholistic style that has at its core
individualized care tailored to what you want, what you believe
and what need has driven you to seek here.
Having said that I know that my style is not for everyone,
so let me give you a thumbnail sketch of a client who
may thrive in our work together.
This client is interested in helping him or herself
and desires to take responsibility for their life,
so they are an active participant in our work together.
He or she wants to consider all aspects of their being
in seeking resources for healing -
mind, body and spirit.
Some have spiritual beliefs that they wish to be honored
in our work together. Others come seeking to explore
this part of themselves actively in their work with me.
It matters little what name they give their pain -
grief, frustration, fear, confusion.
What draws them here is the readiness to take back
their lives, and so to name and reclaim their power.
